Privacy Policy

LazaBot is a Discord bot designed to assist servers with moderation, automation, and community management. This Privacy Policy explains what data LazaBot collects, why it is collected, how it is stored, and the rights you have over your data.

By inviting or using LazaBot, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to all server administrators, moderators, and members who interact with LazaBot in any Discord server.

LazaBot collects only the minimum data necessary to provide its features. This may include:

• Discord user IDs and usernames — used to identify members for moderation actions, leveling, and other features.
• Server IDs, server names, and channel IDs — used to configure and operate LazaBot within your server.
• Moderation action logs — including action types, reasons, targeted user IDs, and limited message snippets where relevant to a moderation event.
• Server configuration and preferences — settings configured by server administrators via commands or the dashboard.
• Discord OAuth authentication data — temporary session information when logging into LazaBot's web dashboard, stored for 7 days.
• Leveling and activity data — message activity metrics used for the leveling system if enabled by a server administrator.

LazaBot does not collect email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or full message content beyond what is directly relevant to a moderation action.

All data collected by LazaBot is used strictly to provide and improve its services. Specifically, data is used to:

• Perform moderation tasks such as banning, kicking, muting, warning, and logging actions.
• Power features including the Leveling System, Ticket System, StarBoard, Giveaways, Suggestion System, and AutoMod.
• Provide server administrators with dashboard access and configuration tools.
• Support server auditing, moderation history, and ActionTag tracking.
• Maintain service stability, diagnose issues, and improve LazaBot's performance.

Data is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to LazaBot's core functionality.

LazaBot's data is stored on secure servers hosted by SantosHosting. Data is retained only for as long as it is necessary to provide LazaBot's services.

• Dashboard authentication sessions are stored for 7 days and then automatically purged.
• Server configuration and moderation logs are retained for as long as LazaBot remains active in your server.
• Leveling and activity data is retained as long as the feature is active in your server.
• Certain log or backup data may be retained for a limited period beyond removal for auditing and stability purposes.

When LazaBot is removed from a server, all associated data — including server configurations, moderation logs, leveling data, and cached preferences — is permanently deleted within 30 days of removal. This is in compliance with Discord's Developer Terms.

If you would like your server's data deleted sooner, you may submit a manual deletion request through our support channels and we will process it promptly.

LazaBot does not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with any third parties for commercial purposes. Data is not shared externally except in the following limited circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers — Our hosting provider (SantosHosting) processes data solely to provide server infrastructure.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required to do so by law or valid legal process.
• Safety — We may share data where necessary to protect the safety of users or to prevent serious harm.

All third-party services used by LazaBot are bound by their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These include access controls, secure infrastructure, and regular monitoring.

However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot warrant absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your data, we will take steps to mitigate the impact and notify affected parties where required.

You have the following rights with respect to your data held by LazaBot:

• Access — You may request a summary of what data LazaBot holds about your server or account.
• Correction — You may request that inaccurate data be corrected.
• Deletion — You may request that your data be deleted at any time.
• Objection — You may object to certain types of data processing.

Server administrators who invite and configure LazaBot are responsible for ensuring that their use of LazaBot complies with applicable privacy laws and Discord's policies. This includes informing their server members about LazaBot's presence and the data it may collect.

Administrators may adjust LazaBot's features and configuration at any time to limit data collection. Removing LazaBot from a server will trigger the data deletion process described in Section 5.

LazaBot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 years of age. This is consistent with Discord's own minimum age requirement.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided data to LazaBot, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Significant changes may also be announced through our official channels.

Continued use of LazaBot after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
